The moment has come and the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family has been given the solemn duty to announce that Mr. Howard Lee Alexander Sr. is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but he is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Mr. Alexander began his life of everlasting peace on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Mr. Alexander have been finalized and will commence on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 1pm at Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Alexander will lie in state from 12noon until time of service.
Howard leaves to cherish his loving memories, his long time companion Linda Bond; children, Howard Jr. (Shanesha) of Raleigh, Markeetah Capehart and Kevin Alexander of Edenton, NC, Edward Bond and Alex Bond of Raleigh, NC; Grandchildren, De’Andre Privott (Jasmine), Dasmine Cofield (Nic), De’Mondre Privott, DeRon Capehart, Kelmaree Boston, Ronnie Capehart-Jones, Kyviona Alexander, Kavio Alexander, Kinajah Alexander, Kaydence Alexander, Kamari Darden, Shykelah Bond, Zavion Bond, and Neizjah Bond; great grandchildren, Ty’Jira Capehart, Damani Boston, Qaiser Capehart, I’mani Capehart, Sekani Cofield and De’Andre Privott Jr.; brothers, William, Samuel (Carolyn), James and Nathan (Stacey); sisters, Emma, Rosie, and Lisa both of Edenton, NC; Special friends, Sylvester Armstead, James “Monroe” White, and George Downing and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Although this Tuesday will be a sad one for Mr. Alexander’s family having to say “good-bye” to this precious gem, all can find solace knowing he is in that Land where everyday is going to be like Sunday and the Sabbath will have no end.
