With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Horton Family joins with the family of Mr. Henry Allen Carter as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Carter transitioned from this Life Friday February 9,2024 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  

The Viewing and Visitation will take place on February 23,2024 at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations from 5pm-7pm. On February 24,2024 beginning at 2pm a Celebratory Service of Remembrance will be held at Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Rev. Shomari Bullard, officiating. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr.Carter’s delicate temple along with his adored family will be escorted to the Beaver Hill Cemetery for committal rights. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Guests are being received at the residence of his Mother located at 112 Morris Lane Edenton, NC 27932 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.

The professionals at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations are accommodating each request and personal desire of the Carter and connected families.
