Harold Stephen “Egor” Tull

Harold Stephen Tull (Egor), 66, of Windsor, NC passed peacefully on December 23, 2024 at ECU Roanoke-Chowan Hospital. Egor was born May 25, 1958 to the late Donald Eugene Tull and Thelma Louise Mizelle Tull.  He was predeceased by his son Harold Brian Tull. He was a member of the Elm Grove Hunting Club and the Roanoke-Chowan Wildlife club. Egor was also a member of Wakelon Baptist Church, where he loved his church family immensely. He worked as a plumber and laborer for many years. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman who found solace in hunting and fishing. He had a profound appreciation for nature and gardening. He was inspired by watching his Koi fish and birds that visited his homemade bird houses. He was a family man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and sisters very much.

The Celebration of Life will be Saturday January 25, 2025 at 12pm at Lawrence Baptist Church, Windsor, NC. The Rev. Scott Bauer and Dr. David Allen White will officiate. The family will receive family and friends following the service.

Left to cherish Egor’s memory include his wife, Donna Peele Tull of the home; daughter, Cathy Tull of Merry Hill, NC; Step Son, John White (Rae) of Colerain, NC; Step-Daughter, Heather Wells (Jonathan) of Robersonville, NC; Half-sister Cheryl Lavoy of Clayton, Michigan; Sister, Terry Jernigan (Woody) of Aulander, NC; Sister, Mary Bazemore (Danny) of Windsor, NC; Sister, Donna Hoggard (Steve) of Windsor, NC; Grandchildren Dylan Williams, Isaac Wells, and Lilliann Wells; a special great-niece, Lydia Jernigan; and special aunt, Nonie Mizelle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
