As all remain in extreme sorrow and astonishing disbelief, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family joins with the family of Gregory Noel Williams affectionally known as “Cigar Williams” as they prepare to say, “Until We Reunite."  Mr. Williams transitioned from this Life on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Gregory have been finalized and will commence on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Edenton United Methodist Church at 2pm with Minister Kevin Williams, Officiating. As hard as it will be for Gregory’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing....We’ll understand it better all by and by.”

Guests are being received at the residence of the mother of the deceased, Mrs. Sharon Jenkins located at 1103 Sandy Terrace Drive Edenton, North Carolina where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
