Gregory White

As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mr. Gregory White as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with him. Mr. White got his ticket and stepped on that Morning Train on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will begin on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2pm at The Push Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. Mr. White will lie peaceful repose from 1pm until time of service. 

As hard as it will be for Gregory’s  loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
