As all remain in extreme sorrow and astonishing disbelief, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family joins with the family of Gloria Jean Glover as they prepare to say, “Until We Reunite."  Gloria transitioned from this Life on November 7,2025 at Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Gloria have been finalized and will commence on Sunday, November 16,2025 at 11am at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Darius J. Horton,officiating. Viewing and visitation will take place Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at Horton‘s Funeral Home and Cremation‘s Hertford, North Carolina.

As hard as it will be for Gloria’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing....We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
