A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday March 2,2024 at 11am in the Sanctuary of Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Zion Church Edenton,NC with His son Rev. Charles Drew, officiating.Viewing will take place from 10am until time of service. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. As hard as it will be for “Peps” loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
Following the services in the sanctuary, “Pep’s” delicate temple along with his adored family will be escorted to the Beaver Hill Cemetery for committal rights.
Guests are being received at 204 Glade Street Edenton, NC 27932 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
