Freddie McDonald

With loving arms of compassion the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mr. Freddie McDonald as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Mr. McDonald closed the curtains of life on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. 

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order.  Beginning on Saturday, October 15, 2022 between the hours of 1pm-2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremation, Mr. McDonald will lie in state for a final glimpse for family and friends. The Celebration of Life Service will commence on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations.

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Cedarwood Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

As hard as it will be for Freddie’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
