It is with sincere sadness that the Horton’s Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of Deacon Frankie Lorenzo Etheridge Sr. as he peacefully answered the Master's call on Tuesday February 10,2026 at ECU Chowan Hospital Edenton, NC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday February 22,2026 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations with Bishop Landon B. Mason Sr. officiating. He will lie in state from1pm until time of service.

Although Deacon Etheridge closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
