It is with sincere sadness that the Horton’s Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of Mr. Franando Cortez Forbes as he peacefully answered the Master's call on Monday March 3,2025 in Virginia Beach,Virginia.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday March 14,2025 at St. Stephen's Church of God in Christ at 11am with Elder Bruce Elliott Hughes, Sr., Officiating and Eulogist. Viewing and Visitation will take place Thursday March 13,2025 from 5pm-7pm at St. Stephen's Church of God in Christ.

As he was found faithful and honorably discharged from the United States Army, Mr. Forbes delicate temple will be escorted to the Albert G. Horton Veteran’s Cemetery for interment rights.

Guests are being received at 465 Smiths Lane Virginia Beach Virginia 23452 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.

Although Franando closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
