The staff and management of the Horton’s Funeral Establishment, embraces the loving family of Mrs. Fleurette Angela Davis as they remember this precious jewel. Mrs. Davis retired from life’s fitful fevers on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Mrs.Davis life which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest are finalized by her cherished family. On Friday, February 5,2021 at 12 noon tender moments of reflection will take place in the Chapel of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other as they prepare to say “farewell." On Friday, February 5, 2021 commencing promptly at 1pm there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration also in the chapel of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations with Reverend Dr. Jerry Parker, officiating. Following the services in the Chapel, Mrs. Davis delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to her earthly resting place in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Elizabeth City, NC. It will be in this designated location that Mrs. Davis will remain, until Gabriel blows his trumpet and the King of Kings descends from Heaven with one foot on the celestial seas and one foot on a crimson cloud, commanding all of His beloved children to enter into their new mansions beyond the skies.
Fleurette A. Davis is survived by her son, Malcum Davis (Rachel); three daughters, Danielle Davis, Kathlene Davis and Marie Perry (Faronta); brother Calvin Griffin (Sandy); three sisters, June G. Williams (Nathaniel), Victoria G. Gregory (Robert), and Ruby G. Barnard (Clinton). Fleurette, also known as Aunt Flo or Flossie is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
