Evelina Copeland Morring

Our loving arms of compassion are wrapped around the heartbroken shoulders of the family of Mrs. Evelina Copeland Morring who answered the Master's Call on January 15, 2024. 

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024 beginning at 2pm a Formal Service of Remembrance will be held at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Tyner, NC. A Viewing and Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations from 4-6pm. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Piney Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

As hard as it will be for Evelina’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
