Evangelist Marie Harrell Sharpe

With tender hands of compassion and genuine hearts of love, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with the devoted loved ones of Evangelist Marie Sharpe as they prepare to say “Until We Meet Again." Evangelist Sharpe was greeted by her loving Savior, Jesus Christ Monday, June 13, 2022. 

Services Remembering a Life Well-Lived will begin with a viewing on Monday, June 20, 2022 between the hours of 6 and 8pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations where Mrs. Sharpe will lie in peaceful repose. A Triumphant and Glorious Celebration of Life Service will commence on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 1pm at Whosoever Will Church of God in Christ with Elder Jerald Perry, Eulogist.

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

Although it will be a major adjustment for her family with Evangelist Sharpe no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and crown of righteousness.

Guests are being received at the residence located at 126 Jackson Street Edenton, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
