With loving arms of compassion the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Eula Delois Hinton as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Mrs. Hinton closed the curtains of life on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
The “Dash” between Mrs. Hinton’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 commencing at 1pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel in Hertford, NC with Bishop Robert G. Mallory, Eulogist. Between the hours of 12-1 pm Mrs. Hinton will be on view at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations for those who wish to spend moments with her prior to the Celebration of Life Service.
Although it will be a major adjustment for her family with Eula no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and crown of righteousness.
Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Watson Memorial Gardens Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Daughters Delores J. Hinton and Mary Hinton Daniels (Tony) both of Roper NC; Four grandchildren, Tonika, Anthony, Kadijah and Brandon. Four great grandchildren, Aubre, Giada, Timothy and Kamilah. Four brothers: Johnny, Joseph, Charlie and Barry. Three sisters, Mary, Barbara, and Yvonne and a host of nieces and nephews. Eula was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Kenny, Robert and Frank and 2 sisters, Mattie B and Mable.
The Compassionate Professionals of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations are serving the Hinton and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
