Ervin Eugene “Duke” Wilson

With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Ervin Eugene Wilson Jr, better know as “Duke” as they prepare to celebrate his lasting legacy. Duke transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, January 9,2021. 

Services commemorating this priceless gem will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel at 1pm. Following the Order of Divine Worship, Mr. Wilson’s delicate vessel along with his adored family will be escorted to the Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, NC for the Committal Rites. Reflecting moments for Viewing and Visitation have been reserved by “Dukes” family on Friday January 15,2020 from 5-7pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. 

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his parents,Ervin and Doris Wilson, four children, Ke’Monte Wilson , Zayveon Saunders  Wilson , Ke’Mizjaa Bond and Tamar Anderson; sisters JoAnn Boyce Rankins(Harrison Rankins), Tanisha Williams, significant other Soleil “Johann”Henry; grandmother Evora Hill; uncles Carlton Williams, Lloyd Leary, Shawn Leary, Johnnie Brooks, Joseph Beasley and Leroy Leary; aunts Sharon Hill, Tammy Leary, Mary Cofield (William), Edis Brooks(Alfred), Mattie Carter, Belinda Boyce, Mildred McIntosh(Everton) and Fannie Hayes(James), godnephews, Demetric Bond Jr. and Taylen Brewer, godniece Zaniya Drew and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
