With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Ernest Blanchard as they prepare to celebrate his lasting legacy. Mr. Blanchard transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday January 16, 2025. 

Services commemorating this priceless gem will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Immediately following the order of service, a  Committal Service will come forth in the Blanchard Family Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

As hard as it will be for Ernest’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
