With an abundance of love and concern, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family is embracing the loved ones of Mrs. Ella “Pauline” Murray as they prepare to say “Farewell” to a link to their family chain. Mrs. Murray closed the curtains on this journey called life Tuesday December 10,2024 at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Services to commemorate Pauline’s Life will begin with a public visitation on Tuesday December 17,2024 between the hours of 11am and 12 Noon at Rehoboth Baptist Church with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12 Noon with Dr. James Allen Jr., officiating. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss.
As hard as it will be for Mrs. Murray’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Vivian Murray; parents, Billy Edward Harris and Mary Evelina Harris; sisters,Lillian E. Hassell, Beatrice H. Winston, Martha Holmes, Mary E Harris and Helen Walker; brother, Edward Harris Jr, Wilton L. Harris, Jacob Harris.
Pauline leaves to cherish her memory, her twin brother, Paul E (Evelyn)Harris; God son’s, Daniel Hassell Jr. and Donovan Halls; brother in-law Daniel Hassell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of loving supporting friends in the church and her community.
