As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Evangelist Ella Marie Brown Smith as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her. Mrs. Smith got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Friday, June 11, 2021.

 A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will begin on Monday June 21, 2021 at 11am at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church.

As hard as it will be for Ella’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
