Elijah Eugene “Pete” Privott

With humbled hearts and consoling minds, the Horton Funeral Home Family serves notice that Elijah Eugene Privott  affectionately called “Pete” layed down the cares of this world in Hertford,NC on December 31,2023 from there, he picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting Life in Heaven.

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order.  Beginning on Friday, January 12,2024 between the evening hours of 5pm and 7pm a public gathering will come forth as “Pete” lies in tranquil repose at Horton’s Funeral Home Cremations. On Saturday, January 13,2024 being called to order promptly at 1pm The Celebration of Life will take place at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremation’s . Immediately following the services in the Chapel, “Pete’s” earthen vessel along with his adored family will be escorted to White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery for Interment Rites.  

Now all can find peace knowing he is now sitting at the welcome table hearing the Master say “Well-Done” thou good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over the things on earth, now I will make you ruler over many.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories daughter, Aiesha Tiare’ Riddick of Charlotte, NC; three sons,Steve Holley (Brenda) of Hertford, Tristan Spencer (Latisha)  of Plymouth NC,Jermaine Porter of Raleigh NC; Granddaughters,Tanisha Howard, Brittany Holley,Janiqua Etheridge; Grandsons, Tristan Spencer Jr.,Ya’Kheme Riddick, Corey Williams, Aaron Williams, Urijah L Riddick Ayden S Hoffler ,Tabious Porter; brother,Jesse Privott of Hertford, NC; God Daughter’s, Annie Brooks of Edenton, NC, Sandrea Jones, Zynasha Jones of both of Hertford, NC and long time friend, Buddy Row of Edenton, NC and a host of other relatives and friends
