With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Horton Family joins with the family of Mr. Eddie Eugene Ward Jr. as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Ward entered into eternal rest on December 21,2024 in Edenton, NC.

The Viewing and Visitation will take place on December 28,2024 at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel from 1pm until 2pm. Beginning promptly at 2pm a Celebratory Service of Remembrance will be held at Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Pastor James Ferebee, officiating. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Guests are being received at the residence of the deceased 736 Virginia Road Edenton, NC 27932 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
