What a solemn day it is to announce that God’s role model of a man has crossed the swelling tide. Dr. Harold H. Murrill Sr.  stood on the banks of Jordan Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital and saw the Ship of Zion come sail by, once he looked up and saw it was Jesus himself was the captain of the ship, he quietly tiptoed out of the room and stepped onboard. 

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Dr. Murrill have been finalized and will commence on Friday, June 24, 2022 from the hours of 5pm-7pm for moments of viewing at Greater Saunders Grove Missionary Baptist Church. A Christian Wake Service will commence at 5:30-7pm. The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration Service will be called to order from the Main Sanctuary of Edenton United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1pm. 

Immediately following the formalities in the sanctuary, Dr. Murrill physical temple along with his adored family, will be escorted to the Greater Saunders Grove Church Cemetery for Interment Rites.

**ALL CLERGY ARE ASKED TO WEAR THEIR CLERGY ROBES.**

Now that he has finally met the Man he has witnessed to others about for so many years and been honored to sit at the feet of the one he prayed to, not to mention beholding the beauty of the one he taught his children about, his spirit is satisfied and when the trumpet is sounded and the sky opens once and for all, the Master Himself will call his name saying, "Harold, you’ve been faithful, you’ve been true and you’ve done all you could ever do and for your faithfulness, ITS YOUR TIME."

Guests are being received at the residence of the deceased located at 1936 Center Hill Hwy Hertford, North Carolina 27944 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
