With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mrs. Corrine Stokley as they prepare to celebrate his lasting legacy. Mrs. Stokley transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday November 9,2023 receiving her heavenly summons while resting at her residence.
The Celebration of Life events will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Holy Trinity Community Church with Bishop Mack Freshwater, Pastor and Dr. Kera Johnson, Officiating. On Tuesday, November 14, 2023 between the evening hours of 4pm and 6pm a Viewing and Visitation will come forth as Mother Stokley lies in tranquil repose at Horton’s Funeral Home Cremations. It will be an adjustment for Mother Stokley’s family and friends not being able to spend time with her any longer while here. However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.”
Guests are being received at the residence of the deceased residence located at 1320 London Street Elizabeth City, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals at Horton Funeral Home and Cremations are humbled to be a part of this precious family and serve them with uncompromising dignity and love during this difficult time.
