Cornelius Tareyton “Terry” Lane

With genuine sympathy, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family announces the transition of Mr. Cornelius Tareyton Lane from this life to life eternal Monday morning at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

Celebration of Life events will be held on Sunday  November 17,2019 beginning with a public viewing and visitation at the Mt. Sinai Church of God in Murfreesboro,NC between the hours of 6pm and 8pm.  On Monday, November 18,2019 at 12noon also at Mt. Sinai Church of God a Homegoing Celebration will be held with Bishop Arthur Clark, officiating. Immediately following the recessional out of the sanctuary, Mr. Lanes physical temple along with his cherished family will be escorted to the First Baptist Church Cemetery ,Rich Square,NC for Interment Rites.  It will be an adjustment for Mr. Lane’s family and friends not being able to spend time with him any longer while here.  However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.” 

The Family has selected the caring Professionals of Horton’sFuneral Home and Cremations to carry out the last rites ceremonies.
