Our loving arms of compassion are wrapped around the heartbroken shoulders of the family of Mr. Coalvin Woods who answered the Master's Call on Monday, May 18, 2026 in Norfolk, Virginia 

On Saturday, May 30, 2026 beginning at 12noon a Celebration of Life will take place at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Although Coalvin closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest where every day is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.

The Compassionate Professionals at Horton Funeral Home and Cremations are humbled to be a part of this precious family and serve them with uncompromising dignity and love during this difficult time.
