Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations to inform all, that Mr. Clayton Earl Sharpe is now resting in paradise. Mr. Sharpe put down the cares of this life on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Mr. Sharpe and his adored family can take part. Commencing on Saturday, February 18, 2023 between the moments of 6pm and 8pm, a time of visitation and reflection will be held at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations as Mr. Sharpe rests in peaceful repose. A Triumphant Homegoing Celebration will be called to order on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2pm in the main sanctuary of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Darius J. Horton, Pastor/Eulogist.
After which, Mr. Sharpe’s mortal remains along with his adored family will be escorted to White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery for interment rites. Yes, this is as far as Mr. Sharpe’s relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to Mr. Sharpe’s loving family when he wrote, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.”
The Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family is providing any measure of assistance available to the Sharpe and connected families during this emotional time.
