With tender hands of compassion and genuine hearts of love, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with the devoted loved ones of Mr. Charlie E. Miller as they prepare to say “Until We Meet Again." Mr. Miller was greeted by his loving Savior, Jesus Christ along with others in the Heavenly Host on Friday, November 19, 2021. 

Services Remembering a Life Well-Lived will begin with a viewing on Monday, November 29, 2021 between the hours of 3-4pm at Frank R. Bell Funeral Home Inc. where Mr. Miller will lie in peaceful repose. Commencing at 4pm there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration in the chapel of Frank R. Bell Funeral Home Inc. Moments have also been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to Charlie on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 with a viewing between the hours of 10-11am at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Hertford, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will be called to order at 11am with Rev. Alvin J. Boone Sr. at in the Main Sanctuary of Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church. 

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Hobbs Family Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.
