Brenda Ann (Harris) Whidbee

As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mrs. Brenda Ann Whidbee as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her. Mrs. Whidbee got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Tuesday, August 24, 2021. 

The Legacy Remembering events will commence on Thursday, September 2, 2021 with a viewing and visitation taking place at Interboro Funeral Service in Brooklyn, New York between the hours of 5-8pm. A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will begin on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11 am at Greater Saunders Grove Baptist Church in Hertford, NC. 

Immediately following the formalities in the Sanctuary, Mrs. Whidbee’s earthen vessel along with her cherished family will be escorted to Dozier-Thickett Cemetery for Committal Rites.

As hard as it will be for Brenda’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
