With humbled hearts and consoling minds, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family serves notice that Mr. Barry Larenza Ford laid down the cares of this world on Friday, December 3, 2021. From there, he picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting life in Heaven.

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order. Beginning on Monday, December 13, 2021 between the hours of 6-8pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel Mr. Ford will lie in state for a final glimpse for family and friends. A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will take place on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1pm at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin J. Boone, Pastor/Eulogist. 

Following the order of service, Mr. Ford’s physical temple along with his cherished loved ones will be escorted to the Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for Interment Rites.

Now Barry can find peace knowing he is now sitting at the welcome table hearing the Master say “Well-Done” thou good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over the things on earth, now I will make you ruler over many.
