Barbara May (Spencer) Weston

With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mrs. Barbara May Weston as they prepare to celebrate her lasting legacy. Mrs. Weston transitioned into eternal rest on August 8 2024. 

A Triumphant Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. It will be an adjustment for Mrs. Weston family and friends not being able to spend time with her any longer while here.  However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.” 

Immediately following the order of service, a Committal Service will come forth in the Brown Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

Mother Barbar Weston is proceeded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Weston and two brothers, Caroll Jr. and Ervin Spencer. She will be loving remembered by her 2 sons Sean Weston (Dawn) and Christopher Weston (Lakesha); grandchildren, Tequila A Midgette, Sean Weston Jr., Kwanzie Weston, Nicole Ortiz, Tony Ortiz, JT Ortiz, and Nakia Weston; 10 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
