With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with the family of Mr. Arthur Lloyd Tann Jr. as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Tann transitioned from this life on Monday, July 3, 2023.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 1pm at Edenton United Methodist Church. A Viewing and Visitation will take place on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 4pm-6pm. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss.
Immediately following the services in the sanctuary, Arthur’s earthen vessel along with his adored family will be escorted to Beaver Hill Cemetery for Interment Rites.
Boyz to Men said it best when they put pen to parchment and wrote these heart felt lyrics: " How does this family say goodbye to what they had; the good times that made those special to Arthur laugh, will always outweigh the bad; his children, mother, family and friends thought they’d get to see forever, but since this past Monday forever has gone away.....it’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday”
