During this moment of sadness, the Horton’s Funeral Homes Family is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Arlethia Marie “Honey” Gilliam. On Saturday afternoon April 25,2020 Mother Gilliam drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior as He stated “Come unto Me, My dear child” while she rested at Vidant Chowan Hospital Edenton, NC.

The Obsequies for this Virtuous Woman will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 commencing at Ryans Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Edenton, NC. The Master’s promise has been revealed in Mrs. Gilliam . He promised three-score years and ten which is seventy years old and He said by reason of strength, He would make it four-score years which equates to 80 years old. Mother Gilliam was truly a Godly woman because our Heavenly Father saw fit to allow her family and friends to borrow her for 83 years.  Now that she has finished her task here on earth, she is reunited with her husband resting in paradise and enjoying the Heavenly Host.

Mrs. Gilliam’s remains rest in the distinguished care and comfort of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Hertford, NC.
