The moment has come and the Horton’s Funeral Home Family has been given the solemn duty to announce that Arkay McClease Sutton, is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but he is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Mr. Sutton began his Life of everlasting peace on Saturday, December 21, 2024
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Arkay have been finalized and will commence with A Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations.
Following the life honoring services in the chapel, Mr. Sutton along with his adored family, will be escorted to his earthly resting place in the Sutton Family Cemetery.
Although Arkay exited this walk called life and left a void in his family that no one but God can fill, they can find comfort knowing that if Arkay could leave any consolation, it would be these Love-able Lord-like lyrics: I’m free....praise the Lord I’m free....I’m no longer bound, there no more chains holding me...for my soul is resting, it’s just a blessing.......praise the Lord, Hallelujah.....I’m free.
He is predeceased by his older brother, Shelton White and grandmother Rosa B. Sutton.
He is survived by his children, Bri’Onna Sutton and Xa’Vion Sutton; Two older sisters, Charmin Hinton and Artina Sutton Walton (Randolph); oldest brother, Archie Sutton; and twin brother Arkey Sutton (Vicky); Lifelong friends and brothers Quiozell Richardson, Deonta Downing, Vincent Kearney, Anthony McEachern, and Erik English.
