On Friday, August 23, 2019, the angels descended from Heaven as God whispered the name Terrance Jarrell Fenner Sr. calling him home peacefully from Vidant Chowan Hospital to enter into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Terrance Jarrell Fenner Sr. also known as DJ Candyman to family and friends was born on May 17, 1972 in Washington County to the late Phyllis Fenner and the late George Banks.
Terrance was raised on a foundation of love and support from his family and friends. He was a kind and loving person to anyone that he came in contact with and always had a smile on his face. Terrance also was a person who loved his low rider cars and his 24” rims, he also loved to customize cars. He was a DIEHARD Green Bay Packer fan and enjoy his ole’ skool music, he also love making CDs for anyone that wanted that throwback music.
Terrance received his educationat Columbia High Schoolwhere he played football and basketball. He also went to Culinary School where he learned to cook great meals and his famous lasagna. Throughout the years Terrance worked at Manteo Furniture, Sound Side Pavilion, White Cap Linen, Travelers Lodge and Ramada Inn. Terrance was also a loving and caring father to all his kids and not once did he ever complain.
Terrancewas preceded in death by his parents, George “Buddy” Banks, Phyllis Fenner and his brother Timothy Fenner.
To honor his memory and to carry on his legacy he leaves his son Terrance Fenner Jr of Edenton N.C, five daughters: Kendra Fenner of Murfreesboro N.C., Mary Evett, Abigail and Kianna Baum of Belhaven N.C, Kason Costin of Pearidge N.C; 1 sisters: Angie Washington(Rufus) of Fayetteville N.C. his grandmother Mary Fenner of Columbia N.C, one niece Jada Fenner and one nephew Jaequan Hill both of Plymouth N.C. Terrance also leaves his memories to two special friends that he loved just like a brothers Paul Flemming and Hosea Chesson. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and church family that he loved dearly.
The services that will honor this Humble Man have been orchestrated by his devoted family and will held on Saturday August 31,2019 at 11am at Center Hill Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. C. Y. Coston Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
