Rev. Raymond Augustus Harper

Reverend Raymond Augustus Harper of 9700 Danford Court Fredericksburg,VA entered into eternal rest on Monday February 13,2017 at his residence. 

Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday February 19,2017 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church Shiloh, NC at 3pm. He will lie in state from 2pm until time of service. Viewing and Visitation will take place Friday February 17,2017 from 4-7pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 6030 Harrison Road Fredericksburg, VA with a service of reflection beginning at 5:30pm

Raymond is survived by his wife Janice of 33 years, his daughter Gianne Harper and sons Andrew, Aaron, and John Harper; his sisters Sheila Harper, Gloria Harper, Ameryll (Kelvin) Ellis, Sharon Harper; his brothers Kenneth Harper, Errol Harper, Bertrand (Matrid) Harper, Anton (Debra) Harper, Roger (Kristin) Harper, and Carlos Forrester; as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family. Ray will be remembered as a loving husband, father, minister and friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; and 2 sisters Valerie Harper and Gwendolyn Harper

Reverend Harper's remains rest in the care and comfort of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Hertford,NC.
