With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Marquaize “Young-Savage” Hunter, as they prepare to celebrate his life. Mr.Hunter transitioned into eternal rest on Monday June 17,2019 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA

Services to commemorate the legacy of Marquaize will begin with a public visitation on Friday between the hours of 6pm and 8pm where He will lie in a tranquil repose in the Viewing Parlor at Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations .

An intimate and meaningful Service of Remembrance for Marquaize, will take place on Saturday at 4pm at Perquimans County High School located at 305 South Edenton Road Street, Hertford, NC with Rev. Alvin J. Boone Sr eulogist and Rev. Ann Barber officiating. Following the services in the auditorium, Marquaize and his cherished family will be escorted to the Cedar Wood Cemetery for Committal Rites.

Guests are being received at 312 West Market Street Hertford, NC where they will also assemble for the Horton’s Ebony Motorcade.

The professionals at Horton Funeral Home and Cremations are accommodating each request and personal desire of the Hunter and connected families.
