Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations to inform all that Ms. Lisa Michelle Canty is now resting in paradise. Ms.Canty put down the cares of this life on Wednesday evening July 26,2018 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA.

Ms. Canty’s family has reserved Wednesday August 1,2018  as the day to celebrate her life. Commencing with the viewing at 1pm to 2pm in the Sanctuary on the campus of Holy Trinity Community Church Elizabeth City, NC, there family and friends may gather to reminisce on lasting memories while viewing the remains of Mrs. Canty. The days events will climax at 2pm with a Triumphant Farewell Celebration in the Sanctuary of Holy Trinity with the Eulogy by Apostle William Moore.As difficult as it will be for her children and family to dismiss from this earthly resting place without Lisa, all will find solace knowing she is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities. She will rest by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal paradise.
