With loving arms of compassion the Horton Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Lenora Billups Rouse as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take.
Mrs. Rouse closed the curtains of life late Sunday night surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
On Friday between the hours of 6pm and 8pm, Mrs. Rouse will lie in peaceful repose for those who wish to spend moments with her in the Viewing Parlor at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations . The “Dash” between Mrs. Rouse’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Saturday at 11am with a Triumphant Celebration of Life at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. William Sawyer, officiating.
Following the Order of Divine Worship in the sanctuary Mrs. Rouse’s delicate temple along with her cherished relatives will be escorted to Cedar Wood Cemetery for Interment Rites. Although it will be a major adjustment for Mrs. Rouse’s adored children with her no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.
Guests are being received at 305 Dobbs Street where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton’s Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals of Horton Funeral Home and Cremation are serving the Rouse and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
