Mrs. Ida Virginia Skinner, of 1370 Harvey Point Road Hertford,NC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday April 11,2017 at Sentara Leigh Hospital Norfolk,Va.

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday April 15,2017 at 2pm at First Baptist Missionary Church Hertford, NC. Viewing and Visitation will take place at the Horton's Funeral Home and Cremations Hertford Chapel on Friday from 5-7pm. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery Hertford,NC. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.

Mrs. Skinner leaves to cherish her memories four children, Stanley Skinner of Hertford, North Carolina, Annette Skinner Davis (Reginald) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Calvin Skinner (Cassandra) of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Tara Skinner Dixon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; five grandchildren, Marquita Davis Tripp (Clifford), Stanley Skinner Jr. (Temeika) , Jamilah Davis Spencer (Patrick), Calvisha Skinner, Keenan Dixon; seven great Grandchildren, Izaiah Sims, Nyla Davis, Kahlil Spencer, Stanley Skinner III, Kyla Spencer, Jariyah Skinner, Joshua Spencer; eight siblings,Wheeler Jones Jr. (Brenda) of Brooklyn, New York, Ollie Mae Scudder of Portsmouth, Virginia, Melvin Jones of Hertford, North Carolina, Arthur Lee Jones (Audrey) of Randallstown, Maryland, Helena Moore of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Zee Brandt (Calvin) of Portsmouth, Virginia, Erle Jones (Ruby) of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Rickey Jones (Tonette) of Portsmouth, Virginia and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Skinner's remains rest in the care and comfort of Horton's Funeral Home and Cremations Hertford, NC.
