Our family at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations , joins with the White family to inform those concerned that Mr. Floyd Wilson White Sr. better know as “Jack” permanently changed his address from Earth to Glory on Wednesday, while in Chesapeake General Hospital Chesapeake,VA.

Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to remember this special gem. Viewing and Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 6-8pm in the Viewing Parlor of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations. On Wednesday, September 4,2019, commencing at 2pm, a Service of Remembrance will take place at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Winfall, NC. During these moments, family and friends can unite with the spirit of love and compassion to give comfort, as they begin to heal from loss of this vital link in their family’s chain. Although the White family’s tree will never be the same without Mr. Jack the Hymnologist said it best when he put pen to parchment and composed these Lordlike lyrics: “Ain’t it sweet just to know, one day we’ll meet, in that sweet by-and-by, we’ll be together....ain’t it sweet just to know, one day we’ll meet. 

Visitors are being received at the residence located at 133 Center Hill Church Road Tyner, NC, where they will assemble for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade and Truck Processional Wednesday at 1pm.
