Collie “Lil Buck” Neal

Our family at Horton Funeral Home and Cremations, joins with the Neal family to inform those concerned that Mr. Collie Neal permanently changed his address from Earth to Glory on Thursday afternoon May 16,2019 at his residence.

Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to Mr.Neal, as he rests in tranquil repose at the altar in Cumbo Chapel Baptist Church in Rich Square,NC Wednesday May 22,2019 from the hours of 5-7pm. On Thursday May 23,2019 Commencing at 2pm, a Celebration of Life will take place also at Cumbo Chapel Baptist Church with Elder Charles Eason, officiating and Dr. Carroll R. Dickens, Eulogist. Immediately following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Neal’s physical vessel and his cherished family will be escorted to the Neal-Jacobs Family Cemetery for Committal Rites.  

As difficult as this is for Mr. Collie’s loved ones to endure this tremendous loss, consolation comes knowing that God promised to be closer than a father, grandfather or brother when each of them are no longer with us. If God said it, then that settles it and He will fulfill His promises for this precious family, being anything they need just when they need it the most. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Carlisea Neal, his brother Wadell Luther Neal and sister Josie Diane Neal. He leaves to cherish, his memories his daughter Shanita Davis(Melvin) of Margarettesville, NC and Nikita James of Charlotte, NC, six grandchildren and four great-grand children, one brother that he loved dearly Charles Neal(Jeanette) of Rich Square, NC, one sister-in-law Joanette Neal of Jackson, NC, one aunt Clementine Garris of Gates County, NC, two uncles Lorenza Mitchell of Rich Square, NC Wilson Neal(Scottie) of Jackson, NC one niece, Velecia Neal who was devoted and dedicated and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Guests are being received at 5743 US Highway 258 Rich Square,NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton’s Ebony Motorcade Thursday at 12:45pm.
