Mrs. Julia Anna Collins Brickhouse of 865 Newfoundland Road Columbia,NC answered the masters call on February 1,2018.

Julia Anna Collins-Brickhouse (G-Anna) was born on December 22, 1954 in Engelhard, NC to the late Joseph Collins Sr. and Pencie Collins. Julia was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee Adams and a sister Bettie Adams-Bryant. On February 1, 2018, G-Anna answered God’s call and entered into her eternal rest. Julia, received her education in the Hyde County school system graduating from Mattamuskeet High School. Julia, began her higher education by studying at Pitt Community College, later transferring to Elizabeth City State University, where she received a B.S. in Comprehensive Business Education.

Celebration of Life will take place Saturday February 10,2018 at 1pm at The Davis Center Engelhard,NC with Rev. Dr. Michael Smith, officiating. She will lie in state from 12 noon until time of service. Burial will take place at Brown Memorial Cemetery.

 Julia, (G-Anna) leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jerald, of the home, her mother, Pencie Collins, her sons; Albonte B. Collins(Daisy) of Philadelphia, Colden A. Collins (Lamesha) of Ohio, and LaQuan Collins of Greenville, NC. Eight Grandchildren and Three great-grand children, along with her step-daughters, Teneshia Reddick (Edward), and Jamie Brickhouse (Terrance) of Columbia, NC. Brothers; Michael Adams (Elaine), Joseph Collins, Jr. (Rebecca), James Muhammad Collins, Raymond Collins all of Engelhard, NC. Maurice Collins (Sebrina) of Ahoskie, NC. Sisters; Shelia Blount (Gene), of Ft. Leonard Woods, MO. Debra Gibbs(Roy), of Manteo NC, Lillie McClaud (Henry) of Greenville, NC. Two aunts; Beadie Terrell of New York, and Gladys Midgette of Engelhard, NC. Two brother-in laws, Bennie Brickhouse Jr. (Lolita) of Williamston, NC and James Brickhouse, of Columbia, NC. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Those special friends, Pam Midgette and Rachel Liverman. And yes that very special Group known as “THE RIDGE RIDERS” Belven, Debra, Minnie, Poochie Virginia and Vickie.

Mrs. Brickhouse's remains rest in the care of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Hertford,NC
