Hi to my cousins. This is Annette Johnson, I am Bubby's daughter. Ida and my mother were very good friends as well as family and so was Ida and I. I was very sadden to hear about Ida passing. I did not know it, and was not aware the day or time of the funeral, but I wanted everyone to know we cared a lot about Ida. We worked together for several years before she retired. Hopefully some day I will get to see some of you when you come to Hertford. I can be reached (252)426-7208. I hope to hear from you soon. Love Yall. Annette

Ida was there for me while I lived in Hertford North Carolina. In my crisis and heavy depression when I felt alone she was there to make that I was doing. I never dreamed I would never her again. She indirectly let me know storms of life will come and go but, sunny skies and less humid conditions also cooler temperatures will always come back. She is with Jesus and his angels in Heaven prayerfully we will meet her there one day.

To Annette, Stanley and Diane, I just this moment learned of cousin Ida passing, it is with deepest sorrow I send my condolences. I wish I could be there at this time to personally pay my respects. I have fond memories of being at her house while a hog was slaughtered and she cleaned it in the kitchen that was in 1983 and we ate some of it the next day. I pray our Lord give you all the strength to peace in this time of sorrow, however, remember to celebrate her life and what she meant to each of you.
