 Clarence "RED" Provott Transitioned this life August 16th 2017 in Edison, New Jersey. Born in Tyner, North Carolina he has been a resident of Plainfield over 40 years. Mr. Privott was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Plainfield where he served as an usher. He was employed as a chemical operator with American Cyanamid for 30 years. a member of the Mohawk Lodge #137 I.B.PO.E. of W. in Plainfield. "Red" was also a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife Lessie Privott, Sons Calvin, Ronald(Michelle), Clarence Jr. Privott, daughters Minnie Jordan, Debra, Lola, and Teresa Privott, and a host of grandchildren , loving relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will take place August 26,2017 at 11am at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church Tyner,NC with Dr. Darius J. Horton, officiating. Viewing will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 5-7pm.

Mr. Privott remains rest in the care and comfort of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Hertford,NC
